DeCurret DCP and Visual Voice Launch a Pilot Project for a “Value-Circulating Community” (DAO) Utilizing Blockchain Technology

- A cycle of “contribution” and “rewards” on LIFE LOG BOX Aiming to build a new creator economy -

 DeCurret DCP Inc. (HQ: Chiyoda-ward, Tokyo Japan, Representative Director, President, CEO and COO: Yoshio Hirako, hereinafter the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced a proof-of-concept experiment (hereinafter “this experiment”) with Visual Voice Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Tetsuya Bessho; hereinafter “Visual Voice”) aimed at building a new community service utilizing digital currency technology and blockchain.
 First, at the DCP Award to be held during the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (hereinafter referred to as “SSFF & ASIA”) 2026 in May 2026, we will create opportunities for creators to connect more deeply—including experiences where creators view and vote on each other’s works, as well as the visualization of evaluations of those works—and verify the usefulness of this next-generation community model.

■Background of This Pilot Project: The New “Value Circulation Community” Envisioned by DeCurret DCP

 Our company aims to create a “value circulation community” where businesses, local communities, and individuals can connect more seamlessly by leveraging “DCJPY*1”, a digital currency based on blockchain technology. In this pilot project, through collaboration with Visual Voice, we plan to conduct trials focused on strengthening connections among creators, enabling fans to select and operate award programs, and utilizing DCJPY within the community. The goal is to evolve into a new community model by creating a space for collaboration among creators to revitalize creative activities and build a co-creation relationship between creators and fans that transcends the traditional framework of “content producers versus consumers.” Through the introduction of DCJPY, we will realize a community-driven model characterized by transparency in fundraising and utilization, appropriate royalty returns to creators, and well-designed reward systems.

*Digital currency DCJPY: A yen-denominated tokenized deposit provided by DeCurret DCP. Tokenized deposits utilize technologies such as blockchain to extend the functionality of traditional bank deposits in a digital environment.

■Signing of Partnership Agreement with Visual Voice and Overview of This Pilot Project

  We have entered into a partnership with Visual Voice and, as a first step toward realizing a value-circulating community, will establish and launch the “DCP Award” at SSFF & ASIA 2026. The DCP Award will utilize a proof-of-concept system for a value-circulating community (DAO) to offer a new experience where participating creators view and vote on each other’s works to determine the winners. It will also visualize evaluations and feedback from other creators and create opportunities for connection through the Discord community.

Awards and Benefits: In addition to a cash prize of 500,000 yen, the Excellence Award winner will be selected as an officially recognized “Official Creative Partner” and will be given priority in producing various video content, such as promotional videos for DCJPY, over the next year.

■Future Outlook: Promoting Creator Economics Using DCJPY and Expanding the Next-Generation Community

 As a next step, we plan to conduct pilot projects demonstrating the use of community services and DCJPY in Visual Voice’s digital asset management service, “LIFE LOG BOX,” and in film festival operations, with a target date of 2027. Through these collaborations, we aim to create a world where creative activities are funded through community-based fundraising, enabling teams to collaborate on content production and share resources, while completing works by sharing the creative process with fans. Even after work is completed, it will be possible to maximize economic value through the community by expanding awareness through sharing and promotion, co-creating screening venues, and expanding the work’s economic ecosystem through fan-created content. Furthermore, we will move forward with initiatives that encompass various community-building efforts, such as contributing to regional revitalization by establishing collaborative frameworks for managing local film festivals and preserving film culture through the restoration and digital archiving of classic films.

• Fund Flow Within the Creator Economy(DAO)
  We will build an ecosystem where funds circulate by granting the digital currency DCJPY as a reward for contributions. This currency can be used for film festival-related payments, supporting new film production projects (crowdfunding), and tipping creators you support.
  
  
• Building a sustainable creative environment supported by co-creation and transparent profit sharing
  We will create a sustainable community where creators—who face challenges such as fundraising, isolated production environments, and complex rights distribution—can share resources and insights with fans and other creators through community engagement. This will enable them to devote themselves to free creative expression through co-creation and transparent revenue sharing.
  
  
• Visualizing contribution levels to turn “Fandom Activities” into value and providing new reward experiences for fan
  We visualize behavioral data—such as viewing and reviewing works, participating in voting campaigns and real-world events, ambassador activities like sharing and promoting works, and collaborating on content creation—to fairly evaluate and reward contributions. Based on contributions to the community, we will grant special incentives—such as VIP tickets to film festivals, meetups with celebrities, proof of “fandom activities,” and priority access to related merchandise and exclusive content—which will be reflected in users’ status. This will foster a passionate fandom.
  
  
• Revitalizing the creator economy through the formation of democratic communities and mutual collaboration
  By building diverse communities—such as teams for voluntary content creation, crowdfunding for production funds, fan participation in the production process and film festival operations, and co-creation with fans and supporters regarding screening venues, work evaluations, and promotions—and fostering mutual collaboration among them, we aim to accelerate the entire process from a work’s creation and release to its widespread dissemination.

Through this pilot project with Visual Voice, we aim to leverage technology to strengthen connections among creators and between creators and their fans, with the goal of establishing a model case for a new creator economy in the content industry.
