DeCurret DCP Inc. (HQ: Chiyoda-ward, Tokyo Japan, President: Satoshi Murabayashi, hereinafter "DeCurret DCP") is pleased to announce the latest information on the participating members of the Digital Currency Forum, for which DeCurret DCP serves as the secretariat, and the demonstration experiment conducted in FY2021 for the issuance of DCJPY (tentative name), a digital currency issued by the private sector.
The Digital Currency Forum is an initiative to study the practicality of digital currencies in Japan with the participation of companies, banks, local governments, organizations, experts, and relevant ministries and central banks as observers from a wide range of fields including banking, retail, transportation, and information and communications.

2.Progress and Future Prospects of Demonstrations in the Digital Currency Forum
The 10 subcommittees of the Digital Currency Forum have been discussing demonstration experiments that will revitalize the economy and improve convenience for people considering their respective use cases. In addition, the Digital Currency Forum will continue to work on the development of new digital currency exchange systems. In addition, the Digital Currency Forum is currently planning to conduct more than five demonstration experiments for commercialization, including bank issuance, during FY2022.
The Digital Currency Forum will promote active and lively discussions and initiatives from various perspectives toward the realization of the private-sector-issued digital currency DCJPY.
